Locals Only Surf Magazine is a free bi-monthly magazine featuring the Volusia/Flagler area's surfing community. Each issue is filled with quality photos, articles, and interviews highlighting our local surf culture, educating our readers of the local historical events that played a part in the surf explosion, and developing an awareness of the efforts of local organizations to preserve and restore our beaches.
“It‟s all about you guys” describes the Locals Only objective to focus on the groms as well as the legends. We want to give the “average” surfer the feeling of excitement that comes from seeing him/herself in a local magazine next to the area's surf heroes, and continue to congratulate the successes of the local standouts.
Founder/Publisher, Larry Hill, has surfed our local beaches for over thirty years. He bought his first surf board for $25 with money he made on a local paper route. His love for surfing and his surf home has never diminished. His goal is to provide a quality local magazine for everyone to enjoy.
